1. Booking and Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only after the client has signed the agreement and paid the required booking deposit. The deposit secures the date and time of the photography service and is non-refundable unless otherwise stated.


 

2. Payment Terms

The client agrees to pay the total photography fee as agreed during booking.

  • A deposit/advance payment is required to confirm the booking.

  • The remaining balance must be paid before or on the day of the shoot unless otherwise agreed.

  • Additional services requested after booking may result in extra charges.

Failure to complete payment may result in delay of photo delivery.


 

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

If the client needs to cancel or reschedule the booking:

  • Notice must be given as early as possible.

  • Deposits are generally non-refundable but may be transferable to a new date depending on availability.

  • If cancellation occurs within a short notice period (e.g., 48–72 hours), additional charges may apply.

If the photographer cancels due to unavoidable circumstances, the client will receive a full refund of any payments made.


 

4. Photography Coverage

The photographer will make every reasonable effort to capture important moments. However:

  • Exact poses, scenes, or outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

  • The photographer is not responsible for missed shots due to late arrival, schedule changes, or restrictions at the location.

5. Image Editing and Delivery

All images delivered will be professionally edited.

  • The number of final images delivered may vary depending on the package.

  • Editing includes color correction, exposure adjustment, and basic retouching.

  • Advanced editing or special requests may require additional charges.

Delivery timelines typically range from 7–30 days, depending on the type of shoot.


 

6. Copyright and Usage Rights

All photographs remain the copyright property of the photographer.

Clients receive a personal usage license, allowing them to:

  • Share photos on social media

  • Print images for personal use

Clients may not:

  • Sell images

  • Submit them to contests

  • Use them for commercial purposes

without written permission from the photographer.


 

7. Photographer Portfolio Usage

The photographer reserves the right to use photographs for:

  • Portfolio display

  • Website galleries

  • Social media promotion

  • Marketing materials

If the client requires complete privacy, this must be discussed before booking.


 

8. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate event details and timelines

  • Ensure permissions are granted for photography at the location

  • Inform guests or participants about photography during the event

The photographer is not responsible for restrictions imposed by venues or event organizers.


 

9. Equipment and Technical Issues

The photographer will take all reasonable steps to ensure high-quality results and maintain professional equipment.

In the unlikely event of:

  • equipment failure

  • memory card damage

  • unforeseen technical issues

liability is limited to a refund of payments received.


 

10. Force Majeure

The photographer is not liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond control, including but not limited to:

  • natural disasters

  • illness

  • accidents

  • government restrictions

  • venue issues

In such cases, rescheduling or refunds may be offered where possible.


 

11. Limitation of Liability

The photographer’s liability is limited to the amount paid by the client for the photography services. The photographer is not responsible for indirect or consequential damages.


 

12. Agreement

By booking photography services, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
